What we collect

Account data: your name, email address, sign-in provider, and role (job seeker, recruiter, or institution).

Content you provide: resumes you upload, proof clips you record or upload, transcripts generated from those clips, and any text you edit.

Product usage: pages viewed, actions taken, and error diagnostics used to keep the service working.

Billing data: subscription and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by Visume.

How we use it

To operate the service: process your resume and clips, generate transcripts, recommendations, carousels, and shareable portfolios.

To communicate with you about your account, trials, and support requests.

To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and debug failures.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train third-party foundation models.

Sharing

Your proof clips and portfolio are private by default. Content becomes visible to others only when you publish a share link, or when you join an institution cohort or recruiter pipeline and consent to that visibility.

We use vendors to run the service (hosting, storage, media processing, speech-to-text, AI generation, email delivery, and payments). They process data on our instructions only.

We may disclose data where legally required.

Retention

We keep your account content while your account is active. Deleting a clip, artifact, or your account removes it from the product and from our backing stores within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.

Revoking a share link stops public access immediately.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Signed-in users can edit content and revoke shares in the app at any time.

For anything you can't do in the app, email us and we will action verified requests within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for sign-in sessions and to remember your preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per user via row-level security, and shared media is watermarked before it leaves the platform.
